Working with Your Departmental Equal Opportunity Officer

Each department has an Equal Opportunity Officer. This person is designated by the department head and is familiar with the university’s Equal Opportunity plan and its goals. The unit’s Equal Opportunity Officer serves as a consultant, resource, and advisor to the search committee and helps to scrutinize the search process to ensure a diverse set of qualified candidates are being considered.
