Taking Good Notes During Interviews

Throughout the entire search process — during the screening, interviewing, and decision-making phases — all committee members are advised to take clear, job-related, fact-based notes. Standardized rating sheets can be created and used by the search committee and other constituents or groups that might participate in open sessions of the interview process, such as public seminars.
