Please select the correct response for each of the following:

  1. As a federal contractor, UNC Chapel Hill is legally obligated to prohibit discrimination on the basis of a person's race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin, or veteran status.

  2. Affirmative action means that you are required to do all you can to give preference to minority or female candidates for your position.

  3. For an applicant with an unusual name, it is important that you ask where the person was born to determine his/her nationality and citizenship.

  9. For all applicants, search committees should review each person's candidacy (materials, interviews, etc.) based on pre-established job-related criteria.

  10. Candidate evaluations and search committee feedback notes made during candidate interviews become part of the candidate's file.
