Memo

As per your request, I have compiled the data on the expected ticket sales for the season.

60100 General Admission Seats for each of the ten home games (eight regular-season, two pre-season).

We account for revenues in two parts. First, there is the revenue from ticket sales. We will earn $65 per seat for the 10 scheduled home games this year. Second, there is an additional fee paid by club-seat and luxury-suite customers. The premium for club seats is $100 per seat per game; this is in addition to the ticket price. The per-game fee for a luxury suite is $6650, also in addition to the ticket price. We keep 100 percent of these latter receipts.

As you know, we don't get to keep all of this. There is a 3 percent "ticket tax" levied by the state of North Carolina that is deducted from our revenues and sent off to Raleigh. From the ticket revenue net of this tax, we deduct 34 percent to send to the NFL. All these receipts from every home game in the league are placed in a pool, and at the end of the year the pool is divided into 32 equal shares sent to the teams. We anticipate that we will receive $ 1 million for each of the 10 (preseason and regular-season) away games from this pool.

These calculations are made under the assumption that we will sell out fully our stadium seating. This may seem extreme, but as you know that has been our experience in the last six years. We anticipate sold-out home games for the next six years if we maintain our playoff-qualifying level of play.

Note that the revenue figures above are calculated for preseason and regular-season games. If our team plays its way into the playoffs, then there will be more games -- and possibly home games. The revenue from those games must be calculated separately. I anticipate that we will be able to charge $5 more per ticket in the playoffs, but I suggest that we leave the premia for club seats and the fees for luxury suites unchanged to reward those customers.
