What advice do you give to future students in this course?

“Participate in the discussions as much as possible. Do one forum post every other week (you'll end up posting more than you need, but that's a good thing. Work with others on the final project.” (2016)

“Take the time to really explore the topics presented in this class. Know that you are in a space that you can connect public health to a deeper context and view it holistically in the context of its history and the charting of the future of our field. This is a critically important class that you can explore the vessel of social justice that public health is nested in.” (2016)

“… This course is very self-directed, with an online "library of resources" instead of assigned readings and mostly unstructured class-discussion. While I enjoyed this, if you are looking for structure, clear expectations, and a rigid classroom environment, this course is not for you. …(2015)
